C. Y.  Hsieh

 

C. Y. Hsieh graduated from Fu Jen Catholic University which was founded by the Holy See, so he had been trained to have the world view from the undergraduate education.  Mr. Hsieh majored in Biology, and also took many selective courses of other subjects. 

 

In the graduated school, he studied in the Department of Pathology in the Medical school of National Taiwan University.  He learned Pathology, Advanced Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, and Intracellular signal transduction.  His thesis investigation was major in analyzing the mechanism of the Hepatocellular Carcinoma, searching the uncogenes and tumor suppresser genes, and finding the gene therapy methods thereof. 

 

After getting the Master degree from NTU, Mr. Hsieh joined the Proteomics and Protein Function Core Laboratory in NTU center for Genomic Medicine.  His major study is searching the unknown protein and analyzing the functions thereof.  This is an interesting field with hopefulness for helping people to get more powerful therapeutical method.

 

      In the period of research, he realized the patent is the power source for the science progress, so he chose to leave school and uses his own acquirements to combine with the patent job.  For this purpose, he joined Deep& Far in 2005 to participate in the practical patent services.
