David Y. Pai

David Y. Pai, a PhD candidate, was awarded the top in the PhD entrance examination of Civil institute at the National Taiwan University (NTU) in June 2004, the most prestigious research-leading university in Taiwan. Now, David being an accredited Professional Engineer (PE) is a Patent Attorney at Deep and Far.

Since the graduation of master, David served in Water Resources Agency affiliated to Ministry of Economic Affair as an alternative serviceman for two years. In the subsequent two years, David was engaged as a position of PE in a construction consultants company. Then David returned to NTU, where David received his master degree, and succeeded the PhD study. During the period, David was honorably selected to participate several important academic activities oversea, wherein the most significant one is to be appointed to visit UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education in Nederland. This visit lasted for over half a year and was mainly focused on bringing back to Taiwan the latest techniques regarding the field of flood forecasting. For a while ago, David has provisionally stopped his PhD studies to seek and plan a new life.

Based upon David’s solid academic training and abundant practice experience, David possesses confidence, sophisticated talent, well mannered, and gifted thinking, whereas the most important is that David, a team player, is amiable. Reading, movies watching, sightseeing, jogging, and swimming are David’s favorite diversions.
