Jeffrey Hsu

Born in Luzon, 1976.

Since December 13, 1999, Mr. Hsu has had experiences in prosecuting patent applications.

He has a mechanical engineering background, has been involved with patent matters relating to mechanical, semiconductor and electrical products and most of the industrial processes.

He completed his undergraduate education at Tatung Institute of Technology (now is called Tatung University), where he received a B.S. in mechanical engineering in 1999.

In mechanical engineering, he has more inspirations about thermal and fluid technologies. The computer simulation heat convection, heat pipe, mechanism design and aerodynamic design are his most interesting and experienced fields.

Now, he is studying in law school of National Taipei University for absorbing the knowledge about laws. Not only the intellectual property law, he also has interests in criminal law and civil law. Therefore, Mr. Hsu has some thoughts about the legal system of Taiwan.

In his work, always to surprises of the client, he designs desired new embodiments for a patent application to be value-added.

Of course, under the client¡¦s instructions, he also loves to struggle against our IPO.

Mr. Hsu resides with his parents and younger brother in Taipei. In his leisure time, he likes to read, photograph and participate in social movements. Unsurprisingly, he is a voluntary legal consultant of COSWAS.
