River Hu

Mr. Hu was born in 1974 and graduated from National Taipei University of Technology.  During his school career, he usually got good grades in the courses, and sometimes received scholarships for his performance.  When in college, he has not only successfully managed his study but also actively participated in extracurricular activities such as table-tennis and computer clubs.

In the university, he majored in electrical circuits, electronic devices, digital logic applications and designs, semiconductor manufacturing processes and programming.  Especially, he chose to study C language programming at the last year in university.  In that year, he learned how to design software and solve many questions.

After graduated from university in 1994, he started to work for his life.  His first job was a quality control engineer serving at an electronic company.  He had to deal with the tests of products and relevant processes of quality control.  The experience enlarged his ability in handling emergency.  In September 1996, he became a maintenance engineer serving at a stock company.  He had to co-work with several software engineers to maintain the normal performance of computer systems.  The experience has contributed to acquiring his proficiency in programming.  In January 1998, he became a reporter serving at Commercial Times and was engaged in writing the news about the latest products and equipments.  In July 1999, he became a consultant serving at another stock company and was engaged in the service and consultation for clients.  These two working experiences expanded his career views and made his social capability more skilled.

In 2001, fortunately, he entered Deep & Far Attorneys-at-Law after passing some strict exams.  For the past five years in Deep & Far, he has put much effort in his work and thus made great progress in Patent related knowledge.  Currently, he is a supervisor responsible for revising English specifications.  Due to this position, he has to review the Chinese specifications and the corresponding English ones therefor frequently.  Hence, he is quite familiar with the writing skills in the Chinese and English specifications, especially the ones related to the electronic or software industry.  In the future, he wishes to learn more here and provide the most effective and broad protections for the clients.
