Yi-Shan Wu
Yi-Shan Wu got her
bachelor¡¦s degree in Horticultural Science in National Taiwan
University. The varied horticultural crops and
bio-technological curricula instilled in her academic fundamentals necessary
for advanced research. In 2003, she
entered the graduate school of Plant Biology of National Taiwan University and majored in biological
technology. During graduate school
she involved in National Science and Technology Program
for Agricultural Biotechnology and her research was about the functional analysis of an antioxidant gene of Oncidium under oxidative stress. Her Master¡¦s bio-technology degree
equipped her with the required professional knowledge and skills in this field.
Ms. Wu had been trainee at AVRDC (Asian Vegetable Research and Development Center) and TYDARES (Taoyuan
District Agricultural Research and Extension Station) during her graduate school. It has truly been an opportunity for her to gain a
good understanding of the two different research centers. Besides being
trainee, she had been a teaching assistant at department of life science when
she was a graduate student. For her
supervisor, she was a
reliable and trustworthy assistant.
In 2006, Ms. Wu entered Deep & Far and now she serves as
a foreign patent engineer in Deep and Far.
