Yun-Yuan Pan

Education

Mr. Pan was graduated from the Chung-Cheng Institute of Technology and earned his BS of Electrical Engineering in 1975. He later graduated from the National Cheng-Chi University and earned his MC of Business Administration in 1979. He also studied in the US from 1985 to 1989 and earned his MS and Ph. D candidacy in Industrial & Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Working Experiences

Mr. Pan served in the Republic of China Air Force (ROCAF) as a professional officer since 1975. Firstly, he was working in the field of avionics maintenance for two years. Since joining the office of Deputy Chief of Staff for Planning (DCS/Planning), ROCAF in 1981, his working field was related to the systems analysis of weapon systems/equipment acquisition. Due to his hard working and extraordinary contributions, he was appointed as Chief of the Systems Analysis/Administration Branch, DCS/Planning, ROCAF in 1993. He was also promoted as a full colonel in 1994. After serving in the Military for more than 26 years, he was retired from the ROCAF on 7/1/2002.

Professional Experience

Mr. Pan has become a member of Deep & Far since July 1, 2002. He is intelligent, diligent, and is fluent both in English and Chinese. Right now, he is working as a senior Patent Engineer with expertise in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronics and Heat Sinks, and has accomplished various Patent Applications in the ROC, PROC, Japan, EU and US for our Clients. He has also handled complex reexamination cases for our Clients successively. Mr. Pan is highly approved by our Clients for the brilliant performances in his work. Due to his working experiences in the past and his knowledge in Business Administration, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Patent Law, he is good at analyzing, finding the excellent reasons for the arguments related to the response of an Office Action issued on the merits of certain application/various Reexamination cases and writing specifications for various applications, and would provide the relatively outstanding suggestions and solutions for our Clients to maintain their interests regarding various patents properly.
